Blackwood specializes in site assemblage and obsolete sites that need entitlements to be redeveloped, a focus that is either outside the charter or beyond the capability of most other local and regional developers. With each project approval, we gain a deeper understanding of how each municipality operates, and local relationships are strengthened.

We maintain offices in Newport Beach and Los Angeles and are supported by a seasoned team with deep experience in acquisitions, asset management, and capital markets.

Regulatory Experience

Leadership

Gilad Ganish is a Managing Partner at Blackwood. Gilad has worked on over 2,750 units in Southern California, with a total market value of over $1 billion. Gilad graduated with a B.S. in Physics from University of California Irvine, and an MBA from the University of Southern California.
